Donations Keep Mears Park Lights Bright this Holiday Season

The holiday lights in St. Paul's Mears Park will go as planned.

KSTP.com previously reported the City of St. Paul would not provide funding for the holiday lights.

Now, private donations of about $10,000 have come in that are being matched by the Lowertown Future Fund.

An architecture firm called TKDA contributed $5,000 while Semple Building Movers are helping with the labor costs.
