INTERVIEW: Give to the Max Kicks Off Tonight

With the holidays fast approaching, the time of year many often open up their hearts and wallets to help local charities.

Once again, there is an easy, secure way to give, kicking off at midnight tonight. It’s the fourth year for Give to the Max which to date has brought in $50 million around Minnesota helping 6,700 charities.

KSTP had Carleen Rhodes, of Minnesota Community Foundation, Pam Anderson, of Helping Paws, Rosy Owens and dog Lottie.

Give to the max has become a giving holiday for Minnesotans. A lot of nonprofits encourage donors to give that day. The goal is to raise millions for thousands of nonprofits in 24 hours, Rhodes said.
