Copper Mining Could Provide Funds for Schools

How could they have known 150 years ago that land set aside to provide income for Minnesota schools could be so valuable?

They are called "School Trust Lands," and it just so happens that many of them are above vast deposits of copper and nickel.

Today, mining companies are getting ready to exploit these hidden riches and our schools could reap billions of dollars in royalties.
