Xcel Crews Headed East to Help

15 Xcel Energy Employees left the Twin Cities Monday for New York to help restore natural gas service following Superstorm Sandy and the storms that followed.

The crews will work on gas meters and relighting residents' appliances.

They'll join 76 others from Minnesota and Wisconsin already on cleanup duty out east. They will likely be gone for about two weeks.
