Streets Closed for Sunday Viking's Game

The City of Minneapolis is closing several streets around Mall of America Field at the H.H.H. Metrodome. It's part of a a security measure for the Minnesota Vikings game Sunday, Nov. 11 against the Detroit Lions.  Kick-off is currently scheduled at noon.

Beginning at 10 a.m., Nov. 11 the City will close the following streets:

  • Fifth Street, from 11th Avenue to Park Avenue
  • Chicago Avenue, from Third Street to Sixth Street
  • Fourth Street, from Park Avenue to I-35W
  • Norm McGrew Place, from Third Street to Fourth Street


After the game the streets will reopen after the fans clear the Metrodome around 4 p.m..
