EmailBrooklyn Park says Goodbye to First Fire Chief
Brooklyn Park's first Fire Chief was laid to rest Saturday.
Chief Orris Aldrich was elected to the position in 1957. At the time, he was the only person who attended the organizational meeting who had any previous firefighting experience.
Aldrich died last Friday. He was 89.
