INTERVIEW: Dating for Nerds

You’ve probably heard of speed dating events where you can show up to a locations and do a series of short interviews, called mini dates. This weekend, another event going on in the Twin Cities that offers a twist on speed dating.

It’s called Dating for Nerds, the Dating for Nerds Classic.

KSTP had Nerds at Heart owner Bathsheba Birman in to talk about the event happening in town.

Birman said the way the idea came up was that she noticed her friends out there weren’t meeting great matches at the bar scene.

The event is geared toward smart singles, Birman said.

At the event, people do quizzes, ice-breakers and Twister.
