Ramsey County Offers Free Mammograms for Uninsured

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ramsey County officials are reminding women that they can get free mammograms through the Sage Screening Program.

The program offers year-round, free breast and cervical cancer screenings to uninsured and underinsured women who are 40-years-old and older. It’s part of the Minnesota Department of Health.

Services range from low-cost to free, with the fee based on family size and income. No one will be turned away if they can’t pay.
