Smaller Holiday Light Display in St. Paul this Season

Expect a smaller holiday light show when you drive through St. Paul this winter.

St. Paul once again allocated $80,000 to help fund holiday lights around town. But the funds from donations are down, so not as many lights will go up and the interior trees at Mears Park won't be lit this season.     

The lighting display won't change much at Rice Park, thanks to large private donations.

The tree lighting ceremony in Rice Park is set for Saturday, Nov. 24.
