EP Middle School Football Team Goes Pink for Breast Cancer

A local middle school football team changed its colors a bit for a good cause.

Eden Prairie added a bit of pink to their usual black and orange. Just like the Vikings, they were wearing pink gloves and socks for breast cancer awareness.

One mom painted a pink ribbon on the back of her son’s helmet. The rest of the team thought it was cool and agreed that wearing other pink equipment was a great way to raise awareness of the deadly disease.

They were playing as the varsity team was practicing. They hope the older players saw the style and will copy it.
