JOB TITLE: Director of Corporate Data Center and Network Ops

STATUS: Full Time, Salaried
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure required.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and server technologies in multi-site environments with over 500 users.
Solid expertise and experience with Cisco network architecture and equipment. High level design and hands on configuration and deployments skills a must. Specific equipment expertise would include all generations of Catalyst switch products.
Expertise with ASA firewall products including static and dynamic VPN configurations.
Experience with CSS (or other) load balancers and VOIP implementations a plus.
Solid expertise and experience with VMWare 5.x products in a multi-site configuration.
Expertise with SAN technologies in both ISCSI and FC deployments.
Four year college degree preferred.
Considerable knowledge of network and security technologies, business continuity, planning and disaster recovery methods.
Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills required.
Broadcasting background is helpful.
Ability and desire to formally lead a small team. Prior supervisory experience a plus.
Must be able to take initiative as well as take direction when required.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and travel on overnight trips required.
Hubbard Broadcasting is looking for a high level network engineer to oversee its network and
data center operations. The position will involve the supervision of two senior I.T. engineers
and participation in the infrastructure leadership team to meet the varying I.T. needs of the
corporation and its radio and television properties. This is a key role for the company
providing an excellent opportunity for a person with the willingness to be a working leader.
Ensure HBI IT related policies and initiatives are enforced.
Serve on planning and policy-making committees.
Participate in compliance and audit activities.
Provide leadership with implementation responsibilities for data centers, disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Design, implement and support all HBI WAN, LAN & firewall technology, performance and availability monitoring, and security administration.
