3 Kids Injured in ATV vs. Semi Crash

Three juveniles were injured after a semi tractor-trailer vs. ATV crash in Carlton County Friday.

Carlton County Sheriff’s deputies were called to County Road 6 near Automba Township around 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19. The ATV driver and two other occupants were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital. They were all juveniles – ages 14, 10, and 9.

After an investigation, the 69-year-old driver of the semi, identified as Donald McDougall Clark Jr. of Cromwell, was arrested for driving under the influence. Police say alcohol appears to be a contributing factor to the crash.
