St. Paul Chamber Orchestra Lockout Looms

A labor lockout for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra is looking inevitable.
Musicians say they won’t be able to vote on the latest offer from management until Oct. 31 because some of their members are out of town. The musicians have been told by management they will be locked out Sunday at 6 p.m. if they don’t accept the offer.
Despite the delay in voting, management told the musicians the lockout deadline stands.
