Chanhassen Police Warn Residents After 2 Daytime Burglaries

null

Chanhassen Police are warning residents to be extra vigilant after two daytime burglaries reported on Thursday.

Police say there were signs of forced entry at both homes and in both cases the homeowners reported only being gone for a short time.

Both burglaries happened in the southern part of Chanhassen on Foxford Road and Deerbrook Drive.

Officers are urging homeowners to use common sense precautions, like making sure all doors and windows are locked whenever you leave the home. Make sure your garage door is closed, even when you are home. Keep a light on to give the illusion someone is home, install a dead bolt lock and document all your valuables.

Anyone with any information about these burglaries is asked to call Chanhassen Police.
