Man Killed in Crash Near Moorhead was Recently Retired

A recently retired man who had just returned from the first trip he and his wife had ever taken died in a crash near Glyndon.
The Fargo Forum reports a minivan failed to yield and collided with a pickup truck carrying 63-year-olds Oscar and Diane Green around noon Wednesday at an intersection about 20 miles northeast of Moorhead.
Officials say the truck rolled, ejecting Oscar Green. He died on the scene.
Oscar Green's brother, Bryan Green, described him a workaholic. He says he retired two years ago and just came back from the first trip ever with his wife.
Diane Green was taken to a Fargo, N.D. hospital but her condition wasn't released. The 57-year-old female van driver was listed in critical condition Wednesday night at the same hospital.
