The north and southbound lanes on Hiawatha closed between Lake Street and 26th Street. Crews are burying a high-voltage power line in the area.
The northbound closure of Hiawatha extends to 54th Street from 6 a.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Work is being done on traffic signals in the area along the light rail line.
