EmailU of M Homecoming Parade Kicks Off on University Ave
Community members can celebrate school spirit at tonight’s University of Minnesota Homecoming Parade.
The parade kicks off at 7 p.m. and will travel down University Avenue, starting at 15th Avenue and ending at Walnut Street Southeast.
This year’s Grand Marshal is Margaret Sughrue Carlson, the former CEO of the U of M Alumni Association. Carlson led the association for 25 years before retiring in 2010. ther guests include President Eric Kaler, Athletics Director Norwood Teague, Miss Minnesota, Goldy Gopher, alumni marching bands, spirit squads, and more.
