The Minnesota Association of School Administrators has named Superintendent Jeffrey Olson, Superintendent for Saint Peter Public Schools, the 2013 Minnesota Superintendent of the Year.

Olson is now a candidate for National Superintendent of the Year, to be announced during the American Association of School Administrators convention on February 21 - 23, 2013 in Los Angeles, CA.
A panel of representatives from a variety of Minnesota education organizations evaluated nominees on a number of things including leadership for learning, communication skills, professionalism and community involvement.
Olson has been with Saint Peter Public Schools since 1975, and has served as superintendent since 2003.
