Study Finds Correlation Between Chocolate Consumption and Nobel Prizes
Does chocolate make you smarter? The New England Journal of Medicine found a strong correlation between a country’s per-capita chocolate consumption and the number of Nobels it had won.
The journal studied 23 countries. The United States was in the middle of the pack, Switzerland led in both chocolate consumption and Nobels, and China was at the bottom.
The study also says chocolate isn’t necessarily making people smart; smart people simply eat chocolate because of its benefits.
