Thousands of trees will be planted across the state thanks to the Minnesota Twins pitching staff.
The Twins teamed up with the DNR to plant 100 trees for every bat the pitchers broke. They broke 170 bats this past season.
Next spring, 17,000 trees will be planted throughout Minnesota State Parks and trails.
