EmailFirst Light Rail Vehicle Rolls Onto Central Corridor Line
The first light rail train is now on the Central Corridor line.
It pulled into the Target Field station Wednesday.
The 'light rail vehicle' is an exhaust-free, electronically operated train.
Forty-seven light rail vehicles will be built for the 'Green Line.'
The line runs between downtown Minneapolis, downtown St. Paul and the University of Minnesota.
It will start operating in 2014.
