EmailTop Gymnasts Performing at Target Center
Top American gymnasts, including ones who competed at the 2012 Olympic Games in London this summer, are coming to the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis on October 11.
It’s part of the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions. The event pairs elite gymnastics skill with modern performance art. 2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin is the headlining gymnast for the event.
Alicia Sacramone is expected to perform. She’s also stopping by the KSTP studios on Thursday morning to talk about the event. Her interview will air around 5:40 a.m. on October 11. She was a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic team that won silver. She also has nine World Championship medals, including three golds, four silvers, and two bronzes.
