EmailWest Metro Fire and Police Departments Open Doors For Families
Several West Metro Police and Fire Departments are holding open houses in the next few weeks. It is a great way for children to meet officers and firefighters.
Minnetonka Fire Department and City open house will take place Tuesday October 9th From 5 - 8pm. The Minnetonka Civic Center campus will have all sorts of activity planned. Kids can even tour the Minnetonka jail! Your children can also meet members of the SWAT team.
Wayzata Fire and Police will have their open house Monday Oct 9, from 3 - 7pm, at the fire station. There will be food, drinks, fire prevention demonstrations and activities available.
Hopkins Fire Department's open house is Saturday, October 13th from 10 - 2. The event will be at the fire station, and includes free fire helmets for the kids, snacks, and live fire demonstrations.
