EmailElk River Issues Burning Ban
The City of Elk River has issued a burning ban due to the high fire danger caused by dry conditions.
The ban began at 6 p.m. and continues until further notice.
The city says no campfires, recreational fires or open burning will be allowed during the ban. Burning permits will not be issued to the public and fireworks will not be allowed.
Residents can check the city's website or call 763-635-1000 for updates on the ban.
