EmailWWII Marine from Mpls. Killed in 1944 to be Buried
A World War II Marine from Minneapolis will be buried today at Arlington National Cemetery.
Corporal Wayne Erickson’s remains were only recently identified. He was killed in a plane crash with six others in the South Pacific in 1944.
Five of these military heroes will be buried together.
