The City of Maplewood will start a new trash collection system starts Monday.
The city has a new trash collection contract with Allied Waste Services. It distributed new trash carts to all residents. There is a meeting and presentation Monday, Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. for the public. Mayor Will Rossbach wants to thank residents for their cooperation during the conversion and remind them about a few specific details.
The meeting is at Sherwood City Park, 2237 Kennard Street in Maplewood. Allied Waste Services will also have their new trash collection trucks on display, along with the new city trash carts.
