Southwest Christian High School Dedicates New Campus in Chaska
The event kicked off with a 5k run and a 3k walk, followed by a dedication, ribbon cutting and tours. The new school includes spacious classrooms, a new media center complete with a fireplace and the first ever gymnasium and athletic fields for the school.
Since it was founded in 1996, Southwest Christian has been housed in four temporary locations-- including a church basement, a community center and converted industrial park warehouse.
The school has 190 students enrolled from more that two dozen different communities.
