EmailMassive Renovation Project Begins at Ridgedale YMCA
This is a picture of what the newly improved Ridgedale YMCA will look like when a massive renovation project is complete in February of 2013.
Aside from the notably different front entrance, the Y is adding a 9,000 square foot fitness center addition connecting the gym and track with the main corridor.
Men's and women's locker rooms will be updated, along with the front desk, and many other changes are in the works.
There's going to be a new group exercise studio, dedicated space for 55+ activities, a new youth development area, along with changes to the exterior of the facility, located near Ridgedale Mall.
YMCA users say they are looking forward to seeing the west metro Y get a good healthy update.
