New Study May Explain Low Water Level on White Bear Lake
A new government study may explain why the water level at White Bear Lake has dropped to record low water levels.
The US Geological Survey hydrologist conducted a two-year study of the low levels. The study blames the drop on higher water usage and groundwater pumping by communities in the northeast metro.
The USGS plans to take the results to several communities and hope it will change how they pump and use water.
