The City of Coon Rapids plans to investigate the impact of its ordinance that requires drivers to pre-pay for gas.
The law went into effect August 1, after a spike in gas station drive-offs.
Some gas station owners say they've lost some profits after the new law went into effect.
Late next month, the city will look at statistics from gas station and police reports to see if it needs to adjust the ordinance.
