Just to prove you don't have to work for someone else to make a living, we visit creative entrepreneurs around the region who are making it themselves.
Like the young woman in central Minnesota who runs her own whisky barrel making business, a man along the north shore of Lake Superior who makes extraordinary art of of recycled glass and, near Duluth, we discover a guy and his son who have gone into the coral growing and selling business, more than a thousand miles from the ocean!
We also visit a small Minnesota company that makes baseball bats for some of the nations top sluggers and a couple who brew up exotic herbal vinegars......all of them....."Making it in Minnesota."
