Funeral Services Held for Monsignor James Lavin

The University of St. Thomas is mourning the loss of one of its icons.

Monsignor James Lavin died this week at the age of 93.

Funeral services were held Friday.

Lavin was well known for handing out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to students.

The sandwiches were better known as Lavin burgers.
