Email'Goldzilla' Event Celebrates Golden Retrievers
Community members are invited to bring their Golden Retrievers to a family event in Shoreview this weekend.
Goldzilla, the Golden Retriever Fun Fair and the Walk for Rescue, will take place at Island Lake Park. The day includes food, music, demonstrations, a foster showcase, and more.
Proceeds from the Walk for Rescue benefit the Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota rescue organization, which services Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The event has raised 95 percent of the $40,000 goal as of Friday.
Goldzilla takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, in Shoreview. For more information, visit goldzilla.dojiggy.com.
