EmailGopher Football's McDonald Hospitalized
A Minnesota Gopher football player is in the hospital Friday.
A Gopher spokesperson says Andre McDonald is undergoing tests but wouldn’t say why. McDonald told the Minnesota Daily that he’s had issues with his heart.
McDonald was one of the team’s top recruits this year from Hopkins High School.
The Gophers host Syracuse at 7 p.m. Saturday at TCF Bank Stadium.
