Police Find Marijuana Grow Operation in Livonia Township

Police say a 35-year-old Zimmerman man was arrested for alleged drug possession after police were called to a residence on a report of assault.  

Deputies from the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office were called to a home on the 13000 block of 254th Avenue Northwest in Livonia Township around 9:36 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, regarding an assault.

While at the home, deputies learned that there was a marijuana growing operation at the residence.

The Sherburne County Drug Task Force was called and found 30 marijuana plants, containers with dried marijuana, and items used to grow the plants, according to the county.

Thirty-five-year-old Jacob Knapik of Zimmerman was arrested for fifth degree controlled substance possession and fifth degree sale of a controlled substance.
