U of M Fall Raptor Release Hosted this Weekend
Birds of prey that have been rehabilitated at the University of Minnesota Raptor Center will be released this weekend.
The annual Fall Raptor Release includes the release of the birds, educational exhibits, family activities, and photo opportunities with hawks, eagles, and owls.
The raptors will be released from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center in Hastings.
The event is free and open to the public. The Recycling for Raptors program will be accepting ink jet printer cartridges.
