Study: Yogurt Helps Lower Blood Pressure

Eating yogurt can help lower your blood pressure.

A study presented to the American Heart Association found people who ate yogurt at least three days a week were 31 percent less likely to have high blood pressure.

Yogurt eaters generally had lower systolic blood pressure, which is the first number on your blood pressure reading.

The study was partially funded by the Dannon Yogurt Company.
