U of M Student's K'NEX Creation Becomes YouTube Hit
A University of Minnesota student is getting national attention for one incredible creation.
Austin Granger spent months and months working on a contraption made out of K'NEX in his St. Paul bedroom. The structure took eight months to finish, has more than 450-feet of track and includes eight motors, five lifts and 40,000 pieces.
He titled the finished product "Clockwork."
The 21-year-old computer science major posted the full display on YouTube last week. Since then it's generated a lot of buzz online, making him an Internet sensation.
