Authorities Search for Mpls. Market Robbery Suspect

Police say a suspect walked into a convenience store, grabbed the clerk around his neck, and stole cash.

Authorities say the man robbed B Line Market on the 1900 block of Fillmore Street on Sept. 8.

The suspect is described as a black male with a light completion, possibly of Somali decent.

He is described as approximately 5’11” with a thin build. He appeared to range in age from 21 to 30 years. He was wearing a black shirt and pants with a dark hat. It appeared that his hair was in long braids underneath the hat. His face was covered with a red bandana. He was also wearing green gloves.

The suspect had a chain wrapped around his hand during the robbery, but didn't show any other weapons.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call 612-673-3845.
