Garrison Keillor Prepares for Start of New Season
He just turned 70, but Garrison Keillor says he has no plans of retiring from his legendary radio show, "A Prairie Home Companion."
He's busy working on the first show of his 39th season. It's set for broadcast Saturday evening, live from the Fitzgerald Theater in St Paul.
Afterward, Keillor is hoping folks turn out for the program's annual street dance, held right in front of the Fitz.
In a rare interview, Keillor opened up to KSTP about his show, his future, and his involvement in Minnesota politics this election season. Watch for that story online and on TV Tuesday.
