MN Farmers Expected to Harvest More Corn than Last Year

Despite the nationwide drought hurting corn, Minnesota is doing fine.
Minnesota farmers are expected to harvest 7 percent more than they did last year, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Nationwide, the average yield-per-acre is at its lowest point since 1995, but this year is also the eighth highest in terms of amount of corn produced.
