Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare Dedicates Sports Room

Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare is dedicating a new sports-themed play area with the help of Twins catcher Joe Mauer.

The room he donated has signed memorabilia from the Twins and Vikings.

Mauer will open the room at 10 a.m. Monday and will catch a “first pitch” from 10-year-old Logan Swedberg. Logan was born with a disorder so uncommon that it doesn’t even have a name. He’s also the face of Gillette’s “Cure Pity” ad campaign.
