Virtual Classroom Allows Students in Mankato, Edina to Take Same Course
New technology is making it possible for one professor to teach two classes in different cities at the same time.
While half the students in a nursing course are in Mankato, the other half is taking part from Edina.
Virtual classroom technology has been around for awhile, but the equipment used at Minnesota State University-Mankato is state of the art.
The college is planning to add another virtual classroom in the Iron Range.
