Missing St. Croix Inmate Back in Custody

The St. Croix County Sheriff's Office says an inmate who escaped from custody while out on a court ordered work release program Friday has been arrested.
Authorities say Jesse Marske, 25, removed his GPS bracelet and failed to return from his job in River Falls. He was due back at the St. Croix County Jail by 2 a.m. Friday.
Around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, a citizen reported a person matching Marske's description in the area of Hwy. 12 and Brakke Drive in Hudson Township.
Sheriff's deputies found Marske and took him into custody without incident, the sheriff's office says. They are continuing to investigate the incident and say new criminal charges are pending.
Marske is serving a sentence for disorderly conduct and two counts of failure to pay child support. He was due to be released next month.
