Robbery Suspect Steals iPhone, Cash on U of M Campus

The University of Minnesota Police Department is warning community members of a recent robbery.
The robbery happened around 1:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, between Territorial Hall and the intersection of 17th Avenue and Third Street.
According to the crime alert, the suspect hit the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground, then kicked him and demanded valuables. The suspect took an iPhone and money.
The victim had a bloody nose but no life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was described as an East Indian man between the ages of 19 and 20. He was more than six feet tall with short, straight black hair. A second suspect who didn’t actively participate was described as a black male just under six feet tall.
