Ramsey Mayor Calls for New Overpasses for Highway 10

The mayor of Ramsey wants new overpasses for Highway 10 after pedestrians were killed on it this past weekend.
Mayor Bob Ramsey told the Star Tribune that talks of separating the highway from street traffic have been ongoing for a decade. He said the problem, of course, is the cost, which is $300-$350 million.
A couple from Texas died trying to walk across the highway near Sunfish Lake Boulevard when they didn’t have the right of way.
Two other people have died near that intersection this year.
