For one man, the hunt for a pair of shoes to wear is over.
Igor Vovkovinskiy is America’s tallest man at 7-feet 8-inches tall. He’s from Russia but lives in Rochester, Minn.
After years of cramming his feet into tight shoes, a Louisville, Ky., shoemaker came to the rescue. Alan Kleinman made a custom pair of leather shoes for Igor, estimated to be a size 25 ½ or 26.
Vovkovinskiy isn’t the only one who has ever needed custom shoes. Reebok has made size 19 shoes for former NBA star Yao Ming and size 22 shoes for Shaquille O’Neal.
