U of M Features Medical Devices, Health at State Fair Thursday

The University of Minnesota will be showcasing medical device research and health sciences Thursday at the Minnesota State Fair.

Attendees can learn about the future of medical device research, talk with experts, and learn about testing medical devices. The Medical Devices Center, the Visible Heart Lab, and Minnesota Supercomputing Institute will be on-site throughout the day.

Also, attendees can take a Medication Therapy Quiz from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to determine their pharmacy literacy, and an interactive exhibit will also take electrocardiograms, which measure the electrical activity of the heart.

The university’s building is located at the corner of Dan Patch Avenue and Underwood Street and is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
