The Minnetonka City Council unanimously approved trail improvements on Minnetonka Boulevard.
The city and Hennepin County are working together to share the costs of a million-dollar project. It would add a bike lane and a pedestrian bridge along Minnetonka Boulevard near Highway 169.
Right now, the bike lane disappears, forcing cyclists into traffic.
