When it comes to food vendors at the State Fair, it's all about location, location, location.
A lot of strategy goes into where a vendor is located. A spokesperson for the fair says they try to arrange the location of vendors based on balance and variety.
Most vendors are probably just happy to be on the fairgrounds. Every year, about 400 to 500 vendors apply to sell at the fair. This year, they had room for two of them.
